The world-famous Moscow ballet performs the Russian version of tchaikovsky’s holiday classic—no sugar plum fairies—for two days at the Hippodrome.


The Nutcracker. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore School for the Arts, MICA and the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric come together to present Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s full-length holiday spectacle. 2 p.m., 7:30 p.m., Dec. 21 and 22, the Patricia and Arthur Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric Opera House, 140 W.
