On Wednesday, police arrested Avery Little, age 20, and charged him in the shooting. He was held without bond.

Southwestern District police discovered two people shot to death in a car on the 1500 block of Cole Street in the Mount Clare neighborhood. Antonio Foster, a 35-year-old African-American man, was still holding a cigarette according to a report in The Sun. Sheena Gamble, a 30-year-old African-American woman, was behind him. Neighbors said they had been awakened by gunfire but did not see any activity. Police were trying to piece together the events at press time.
6:49 p.m. Allan Foster, a 56-year-old African-American man, was on the 4200 block of Walrad Street when he was shot multiple times. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Friday, Jan. 31
7:30 a.m. Southeastern District police officers called to the 400 block of South Ellwood Avenue across from Patterson Park found Kimberly Leto, a 51-year-old Caucasian woman, dead inside her house. Police say she had “trauma to her body,” and on Sunday they announced the arrest of two African-American boys, 14-year-old Alonzo Phillip Gorham-Ramos of the 3600 block of Parkside Avenue and 17-year-old Allen Pinkney of the 3500 block of Juneway. Both juveniles were charged with murder and burglary.
Ricky Bailey, a 34-year-old African-American man, died on Dec. 8 from complications resulting from a gunshot wound he sustained on Nov. 27, 1998, when he was shot multiple times on the 900 block of South Clinton Street. The autopsy determining the cause of death was performed on Jan. 30, 2014, so Bailey’s death is added to the homicide rolls this year. Jose Charles Fuentes was charged with attempted murder after the original investigation. He pleaded guilty and received a 20-year sentence, court records indicate.
