Monday, June 3

11:26 p.m.: Police called to investigate an “unconscious man” on the unit block of West 20th Street saw nothing, but returned two hours later and found Willie Ben Miller, a 26-year-old African-American man who lived on the 5200 block of Saybrook Road, dead behind a Chinese restaurant. He had been shot multiple times.

Tuesday, June 4

5:15 a.m. Police got a call for a shooting on the 2100 block of Park Avenue. There they found Akeem Yarberough, a 36-year-old African-American man, shot several times. He died on the street.

Wednesday, June 5

12:15 a.m. Michael Antwan Davis, a 29-year-old African-American man, was in the front seat of a car on the 3700 block of Glenmore Avenue near Burdick Park when someone shot him in the face. Police arrived to find a medic working on him, but Davis died at the scene.

Thursday, June 6

7:11 a.m. Eric Henderson, a 33-year-old African-American man, was in an open field near the post office and the Cold Stream Recreation Center on the 3000 block of Homewood Avenue when someone shot him in the head. Paramedics could not save him and he died a few minutes later.

Sunday, June 9

2:33 a.m. Dante Fletcher, a 21-year-old African-American man, was at the gas station on the 3300 block of Mannasota Avenue when someone stabbed him and fled. He died at Johns Hopkins at 3:12 a.m.
