Updates:

On Dec. 3, Keith Holly Jr., a 23-year-old African-American man, was acquitted of all charges in the murder of James Ingram, a 46-year-old African-American man. According to The Baltimore Sun, the defense argued that Donte Collins killed Ingram. Ingram argued with Collins’ mother on Oct. 9, 2010. Later that night, Collins, his mother, and Holly went to Ingram’s home to confront him. Ingram and Collins fought on the porch and, during the argument, Ingram was shot in the neck at close range. According to The Sun, Holly’s defense attorney argued that there wasn’t enough room on the porch for a third person to shoot Ingram. Collins was murdered on Dec. 19, 2011.

Nicole Fitzgerald, a 32-year-old African-American woman, was arrested on Dec. 5 for the murder of her 2-year-old son, Paris Russell. Police found Russell stabbed to death in the basement of his home. Fitzgerald was with him and had cut her own throat. She was arrested after she was released from the hospital.
