Kedar Anderson, a 25-year-old African-American man, was convicted of murder, kidnapping, and other charges on Dec. 12. Anderson was involved in the kidnapping and killing of Kenneth Jones, a 26-year-old African-American man. Jones was at Custom House Avenue and Water Street near the Inner Harbor on June 8, 2008, when Anderson and Dajuan Marshall, a 29-year-old African-American man, forced him into a trunk at gunpoint. He was later found dead from numerous gunshots to the head in the 4500 block of Bonner Road. Police say Jones was the head of the Pasadena Denver Lanes Bloods and Marshall led the Bounty Hunter Bloods; the two gangs were rivals. Marshall was found guilty on Oct. 24 of conspiracy to murder and participation in a criminal street gang resulting in death.
