The man shot in the head in the 4500 block of Marble Hall Road on May 14 has been identified as Dawaun Anderson, a 22-year-old African-American from Edgewood.

Thursday, May 19

1:45 a.m. Raymond Young Jr., a 29-year-old African-American man, left his home around midnight. He went to a bar on Reisterstown Road and then to a carryout, where he ordered food and then walked outside. He was found a short time later lying on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of Spaulding Avenue in Central Park Heights. He had been shot repeatedly and died at an area hospital at 2:18 a.m.

12:55 p.m. That afternoon, Marcus Nickens Jr., a 19-year-old African-American man, was riding his bicycle in the 4100 block of 10th Street in Brooklyn. Someone chased Nickens south on 10th and shot him. Nickens fell off the bike at the corner of Gretna Court and 10th Street, and his attacker shot him at least once more as he lay on the ground. He died that day. According to The Baltimore Sun, Nickens was a senior at Southside Academy in Cherry Hill and the quarterback of the school’s football team.

Saturday, May 21

11:40 p.m. Police were making a drug arrest in the 1600 block of Bruce Street when they were informed that a man was lying in the front yard of a vacant home in the 1600 block of North Fulton Avenue. The man, who has not yet been identified, had been stabbed in the chest and died roughly a half-hour later at the scene.

Sunday, May 22

10:35 p.m. An as-yet-unidentified male was stabbed in the chest in the 3100 block of Edmondson Avenue near Hilton Parkway. He died at an area hospital at 11:15 a.m.
