The man who was shot to death on March 31 in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive was Tyrone Slay, not Flay as previously reported. City Paper regrets the error.

Monday, April 4

11:39 p.m. Police were in Northwest Baltimore when they heard gunshots coming from the 3400 block of Powhatan Avenue near Lake Ashburton. When they got to the scene of the shooting, they found Christopher Bullock, a 24-year-old African-American man, lying in the street shot in the back. He died at an area hospital less than an hour later.

Tuesday, April 5

12:57 a.m. Roosevelt Tillman, a 20-year-old African-American man, and another person were sitting in a van in the 2800 block of West Mulberry Street. A man in dark clothes came up to the van and shot them. Roosevelt was discovered lying in an alley, shot in the body and limbs. He died at an area hospital at 5:03 a.m. The other person in van was shot in the hand and survived.

Wednesday, April 6

1:15 a.m. Keenya Jordan, a 32-year-old African-American woman, was found lying facedown on the sidewalk in the 600 block of Lennox Street in Reservoir Hill. She had been shot in the head and upper body. She died less than an hour later at an area hospital. Jordan is the third biological female murdered this year.

Saturday, April 9

1:20 a.m. James Evans, a 31-year-old African-American man, was driving in the 4900 block of Bowland Avenue when he got into an argument with another driver. The other driver cut off Evans’ car. The driver then got out and continued arguing with Evans. The situation escalated, turning into a physical altercation. During the fight Evans was stabbed in the chest and groin. He died at an area hospital at 2:14 a.m. This is the fourth murder in the Frankford neighborhood this year, making it the most murderous in the city.

4:59 p.m. Dwight Taylor, a 25-year-old African-American man, was inside the Focal Point Barbershop in the 200 block of West Saratoga Street. Two people entered the barbershop, shot Taylor numerous times, and left. He died at an area hospital at 6:10 p.m. This is the second murder in the Central police district this week.
