Monday, Feb. 7

3:15 p.m. Craig Manuel, a 19-year-old African-American man, was shot in the middle of the afternoon at the intersection of Polk Street and Gorsuch Avenue near Clifton Park. He died at an area hospital less than an hour later. Isaacier McQueen, an 18-year-old African-American man, was arrested the next day for Manuel’s murder.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

5:31 p.m. Isaiah McFadden, a 21-year-old African-American man, was standing at a bus stop in the 6600 block of Alta Avenue during rush hour. A four-door light-colored vehicle drove up and someone inside opened fire on McFadden, shooting him numerous times. McFadden died at an area hospital at 7:09 p.m. This is the sixth fatal shooting between the hours of 3 and 6 p.m. this year.

Friday, Feb. 11

10:33 a.m. Jose Estrella, a 19-year-old African-American man, was shot several times at the Food City Market in the 4000 block of Park Heights Avenue and collapsed between two parked cars. He died at a nearby hospital shortly before noon. Estrella is the 10th person under the age of 30 murdered this year.
