Wednesday, Sept. 22

1:46 a.m. Police found a 21-year-old African-American man lying on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of Belair Road. He had been shot in the neck and died at a local hospital at 2:15 a.m. A 26-year-old African-American man was shot in the left hand during the same incident but survived. Police are waiting until the family of the man who died has been notified to release his name. This is the second murder in this block this year.

Thursday, Sept. 23

10:04 a.m. James Schools, a 32-year-old African-American man, was found slumped over on the front steps of a home in the 1500 block of North Broadway Street in Oliver. He had been shot repeatedly in the head and died at a nearby hospital at 10:21 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 25

5:09 p.m. Donnie Martin, a 39-year-old African-American man, got into an argument with someone in his house in the 3100 block of Chelsea Terrace in Northwest Baltimore. During the fight, Martin was shot. He died at a local hospital two hours later.
