BGF Rule!

Come on, Maryland. It’s time to douche and dismantle the whole viciously skewed political cycle in our state.

If the Baltimore City Council and the political wonks in Annapolis could conceivably operate with the same model efficiency as the Black Guerrilla Family (BGF) did within the Baltimore City Detention Center (“Prison Scandal Grows,” Mobtown Beat, Nov. 27), many issues would never have become issues in the first place.

If the elfin-eared governor of Maryland had stayed in Annapolis, where he belonged, and done his due gubernatorial diligence, we may have never had the BGF incident to begin with. He has failed us in a remarkable way.

How does it seem that many of the people we elect in Maryland contribute their share to keeping corruption front and center for not only years, but decades?

All community colleges in Maryland should immediately offer free online courses titled “How to Ensure You Are Not Voting for Another Potentially Corrupt Power-Crazed Politician.”

Come on, Maryland. It’s time to douche and dismantle the whole viciously skewed political cycle in our state.
