THURSDAY: Scott Weiland, in that awkward phase where the band’s back together but he’s still doing the solo thing nobody cares about, headlines Rams Head Live. Jazz vocalist Kristin Callahan sings at Joe Squared Inner Harbor. Sinatra (not that Sinatra) plays at the Sidebar with Young and Heartless. Cajun rockers Donna the Buffalo makes up their postponed October date at the Recher Theatre. The Annapolis septet Afro Bop Alliance plays Latin jazz at An die Musik. Don’t miss: Baltimore’s Eureka Birds play their own unique twist on chamber pop at the Ottobar.

FRIDAY: Local workaholic MC Tyree Colion plays a release party for his new mixtape at the 5 Seasons, with performances from other Baltimore hip-hop luminaries like Verb and Bar Cardy. Loving the Lie and Adverse Attraction hold a joint release party for their new EPs at Rams Head Live. Marc Rizzo of Soulfly brings his solo project to the Recher Theatre with ZFL and Ten Feet Thick. Singer/songwriters Alex Peters and Van Meter’s names rhyme with each other at Joe Squared Station North. Pianist Kevin Hays and his Prana Trio play at An die Musik. Don’t miss: J. Roddy Walston and the Business, our pick for the city’s “Best Live Band,” blows the roof off the Ottobar with Trillions and Toy Soldiers.

SATURDAY: The Sidebar holds a tribute to late local skateboarder Nick Montanez and a benefit for his family, with performances by Dawn Treader, Scum Again, Pansori, and others. Reunited early-’90s Baltimore bands Liquor Bike and Helikopter take old friends and fans down memory lane, so to speak, at the Ottobar. Whoarfrost, the Water, Jonathan Badger, and the Expanding Man play on the fifth floor of the H&H Building. The Tommy Joy Trio sings and swings at the 13th Floor at the Belvedere. Patti Smith and Her Band, including CBGBs-era sidemen Lenny Kaye and Jay Dee Daugherty, plays at Rams Head Live. The Moody Blues are just singers in a rock and roll band, even on the stage of the Lyric Opera House. The Donny McCaslin Group plays a release party for the tenor saxophonist’s latest CD at An die Musik. Cannibal Corpse sings “Fucked with a Knife” and other love songs at the Rock And Roll Hotel down in Washington, D.C. SUNDAY: An die Musik presents Unwrapped: An Un-Holiday Cabaret with vocalists Dyana Neal and pianist Diane Kinsley. Gospel singer Donald Lawrence performs at the Murphy Fine Arts Center at Morgan State. Creative Differences presents Jason Robinson’s Janus Ensemble at the Windup Space. MONDAY: Noise in the Basement brings local rock to Baltimore Soundstage.

TUESDAY: A cappella quintet Pentatonix, winners of NBC’s The Sing-Off, harmonizes at Baltimore Soundstage. The Out Of Your Head collective improvises at the Windup Space. DJ Scottie B spins at Joe Squared Inner Harbor.

WEDNESDAY: X and the Reverend Horton Heat bring their co-headlining tour of two very different strains of twangy punk to Baltimore Soundstage. Another musical clergyman, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, plays at the 8x10. Ari Baranson and Matt Graboski go acoustic at Joe Squared Station North. Minnesota alt-country combo Trampled by Turtles headline Rams Head Live with Spirit Family Reunion. The Faint does that thing where they play the old album people actually liked by them in its entirety at the 9:30 Club. Don’t miss: Mark Eitzel of American Music Club plays the Golden West with Baltimore power-pop combo the Jennifers.
