On Wednesday night, May 26, the 11 finalists in our Shoot. Score. Baltimore short film contest screened in front of a packed house at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson. Judges Eric Hatch (programming director, Maryland Film Festival), Karen Yasinsky (filmmaker/video artist and MICA instructor), and Joe MacLeod (CP film critic and Mr. Wrong) awarded Nick Clasing's "Freeland, MD" the Grand Prize and $500; Brandon Marsh's "Closure" won honorable mention. And the Audience Favorite award, voted by the attendees, went to Jeremy Tan's "Who Is Brian Richards?" He took home $250.
Congratulations to the winners and the finalists, and many thanks to Kristen Anchor and the staff and volunteers of the Creative Alliance, Jason Willett, and Tim Hill.
