A prominent Charles Village corner spot (formerly C & C Carryout), a pleasantly sunny day, move-in week at Hopkins—maybe it’s no wonder that every single table at this new Korean restaurant was filled during a recent lunchtime visit. But we wouldn’t discount the food as a draw for the throngs, because if carryout Korean is going to work at all, it needs to be this solid. An order of beef bulgogi ($7.99) filled the car with savory odors every bit as distracting as texting while driving; unpacked, it delivered thin strips of gingerly spiced sautéed beef and onions served over white rice. It never stood a chance. The colorful veggie bibimbap (with egg, no meat; $7.99), was fresh and delicious, with crisp vegetables and just the right amount of spice. We’ll be back to sample more of the menu (hello, squid bulgogi) and grab a table in the small but bright storefront. If it was closer to the office, we’d be back a lot.
