Best mid-week party at a restaurant: Porkchop of 92Q at T.G.I. Fridays

9634 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, @Porkchop410

Neighborhood family restaurants have become a hotspot for young professionals looking for alternatives to stuffy, overpriced nightclubs. Porkchop, of 92Q FM, hosts and DJs twice a week after 10 P.M. in local restaurants. (The current place to be is the T.G.I. Friday’s in Owings Mills on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but that is subject to change.) There are sometimes card and board games, but people mostly come to lounge. The soundtrack is a mix of classic old school cuts and the hottest hip-hop and R&B tracks of today. Don’t forget to ask about food and drink specials.
