Sometimes a massage is about soothing forest sounds, gentle hands, dim lights, and scented candles. And then sometimes you just want to be manhandled. Seoul Spa, in Security Square Mall, offers all-day access to the usual Korean spa perks (whirlpools, crystal sauna rooms, bulgogi), but their secret weapons are the massage ladies. They’ll douse you in milk, rub honey in your hair, yank your arms, pound out your knots, and for a grand finale, crawl onto your back, smooshing your face into the massage table and nearly suffocating you. It may not feel wonderful in the moment, but the next day is amazing.
