It’s not illegal to sell cleaning agents to tourists in drug bags. Maybe that’s why the BCPD seems to turn a blind eye to the blatant “drug” dealing that regularly takes place across the street from police headquarters on the part of Baltimore Street known as the Block. For every barker standing outside one of the many “gentleman’s clubs” there are anywhere from one to three freelancers serving as a concierge for illicit substances. Too bad the only thing people take away from said services is the adrenaline rush that comes with making a drug purchase with an abundance of police nearby—that, and something with which to clean their countertops.
