Picking the best CD store is pretty silly in the year 2011, admittedly. We know people still buy CDs, sure, but as a technology the ol’ CD is a bit redundant, a vehicle for digital information when digital information doesn’t really need a physical vehicle anymore. Or does it? There’s still those obscurities, those hand-packaged yet-to-be-uploaded/bit-torrented noise/psych/just weird CD-Rs. True Vine’s about your best bet in town to find ’em, at least beyond a merch table.
