We ate our lunch out at Valley View Farms recently—we just got so caught up in its vast array of goods, plants, and ideas that we didn’t want to leave. A combination of park, roadside stand, greenhouse, water garden, seasonal holiday shop (it was Halloween last time), eternal Christmas shop, bird store, outdoor-furniture showcase, ceramic studio, landscaping business, plant school, gnome and Buddha city, and butterfly garden, VVF delights our senses. It inspires us to get out of our own doors and make the very most of our little plot of land, even if that just means a few more herbs for the kitchen, one more pretty perennial for near the walkway, and some clay pots and saucers.
