Best Way to find a Sno-ball
Snobaltimore
Published: September 21, 2011
We normally award a Best Sno-ball, but this year, someone has done our work for us. Snobaltimore, a recently released zine by Kate Lambright, Bruce Blume, and Sarah Tomko of the Snoball Collective, makes a science out of sno-ball consumption. The 36-page pocket-size guide provides readers with a map of the city’s stands, dividing them with a visual key into pop-ups, established stands, and annex vendors (those attached to outdoor markets or non-sno-ball-related merchants). Read a brief history of the sno-ball, make an educated purchase with the zine’s top stand recommendations, and avoid sno-ball-related deaths with this $4 booklet that will help you get to know your city through one more of its idiosyncrasies.
