If you’re under 60, you’ll probably be the youngest one in the Peppermill’s dining room. But even so the Peppermill proves that old school doesn’t have to equal bland food, delivering a bounty of perfectly fried oysters, massive prime rib, liver and onions, shad roe in season, and a decent sour beef too. The bar knows its way around a classic cocktail, and servers know the regulars and treat them like family.
