Another year, another round of sandwiches and half-slabs consumed in the hopes that a worthy challenger will appear. And while they’re almost always worth the effort (see also: pizza and sex), they always fail to live up to Andy Nelson’s. We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: The pulled pork and the ribs are as good as any we’ve ever had anywhere. Anywhere, including all over the actual, honest-to-God South. The sides rock, as do the desserts. Still not open on Sundays.
