Twitter’s a relatively recent innovation and, while it may have whole servers devoted to Justin Bieber-centric talk, there’s no disputing that it’s revolutionized the way we get our news. Twitter allows news to break and spread faster. Case in point: Justin Fenton. The Baltimore Sun reporter’s Twitter account, which he stokes while reporting stories for the daily, is your best bet for breaking crime news (his recent election and Grand Prix coverage has been pretty good too, come to think of it) and that’s all the more astounding when you realize it’s a one-man operation. Care about crime in Baltimore? You’re missing out by not following this guy.
