The main ingredients for an awesome dog party are as follows: other dogs, water in which to swim with other dogs, room to run, great smells, and critters. Ergo, Robert E. Lee Park is dog heaven. Not the southern end on Lake Roland, long closed for renovations because of, uh, dogs, but farther up Falls Road toward Old Court Road. You’ll see a long line of parked cars in the pull-off. There’s one trail there and after not too long, you’ll find everything listed above. Your mutts’ll be so thankful they might just go out the next day and get a damn job already.
