Baltimore Diner

baltimoresun.com/entertainment/dining/baltimore-diner-blog

First off, we’re partial on this one. Well, we’re partial on all of these Best of Baltimore thingies, because that’s what they are—opinions about favorite or most despised stuff. But this one’s different, because Baltimore Diner is The Baltimore Sun’s restaurant blog, and it’s written by none other than former longtime City Paper restaurant critic Richard Gorelick, who’s not only a warm and engaging writer, a practiced and devoted epicurean, and a man who’s more around town than most anyone we know, but he’s also totally huggable. Not that that matters. What matters, blogging-wise, is that the man’s a fucking machine, typing out posts at breakneck pace about anything eats-and-drinks-related in town and beyond. It’s not a thankless job, as commenters join in his chatter regularly, but it is a bit of an endurance test. So far, he’s been up to it, and there’s no sign of letting up. Couldn’t happen to a better man.
