Baltimore Arts
Club Music DJ
DJ Mike Crosby
Published: September 21, 2011
Mike Crosby’s been deep in the Baltimore club scene for two decades now, from his first job at the legendary Odell’s to the countless mix CDs he’s released with and without frequent partner in crime DJ Kenny K, including a stint with Unruly Records in the late ’90s. These days, Crosby is probably best known for spinning classic hip-hop on 92Q’s noontime Mid Day Mix, and, like most DJs in Baltimore, has to focus on playing new rap most of the time when he DJs events now. But you can bet that when he gets a chance to play Baltimore club, he’ll tear the house down with some of the same classics he helped break back when they were new.
