When Adam Schwarz isn’t co-hosting Deep in the Game, he’s concocting an endless stream of WTF-worthy projects. He released 30 songs in June (one for each day), and he’s recently taken to chopping up oldies like the Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” into crunchy, freaky club music. Back in February, he did a show at Normal’s Red Room in which he played keyboards while video clips of girls crying projected behind him. It was called Why Do I Feel Like This? and you can buy the album version for four bucks on his Bandcamp page. That price, by the way, is totally a steal for this “difficult dark ambient album,” because for a while there, he had it priced at $1,000. Schwarz also produced a track on E3, a free album from Issue, the Aphex Twin-obsessed son of Bay Area rapper E-40. We’re kind of afraid of what he’s gonna do next.
