Best Street Artist

When we say “Best Street Artist” in this town, we almost have to add “Who’s Not Gaia.” With Open Walls and a show at the BMA, the dude is pretty damn-near ubiquitous. But, walking the streets of the city, so is Nether. And now that Gaia has gone a bit more mainstream and colorful, Nether is taking up the late-night wheatpaste agitprop torch. He’s got the gasmask works you see all over, and he turned one of CP contributing photographer J.M. Giordano’s photos of Sno Ball kids into the super-rad piece just below the tail of Gaia’s pigeon at the corner of North and Charles. If Nether keeps rocking like this, next year, we’ll have to add “Who’s Not Nether” to our tag.
