Here we are in September and already the full lineup for the MDF 10th anniversary in May is posted. And befitting the festival, said lineup is encyclopedic. The thing will probably sell out before winter. That’s how big of a deal Deathfest is. Technically speaking, it might not be as big as something like, say, the Virgin Mobile FreeFest, but that’s not really the point, which is as much of and the best of underground—and then some—metal as can be assembled. We’d say “as can be assembled by a couple of regular-ass Baltimore dudes” but, really, Ryan Taylor and Evan Harting are somehow doing way more than that regardless.
