Celebration’s third album, Hello Paradise, was released earlier this year as the conclusion of the two-year “Electric Tarot” campaign, which premiered each of the album’s nine songs online, one at a time. And the companion web site, celebrationelectrictarot.com, is as enigmatic and vividly ornate as the album, with a colorful interactive menu of tarot cards leading you through songs and other media. There’s even a lengthy manifesto, explaining the band’s decision to release its music this way and declaring the death of the album as a physical product, as well as the whole tarot card concept that we’re still not sure we entirely understand but still think looks pretty cool.
