Not too many places around town call themselves wine bars and with good reason. But Grand Cru is the real deal. Witness the carefully selected wine list that offers a rotating roster of quality wines by the glass from all corners of the globe, from Oregon to Australia with a good dose of Old World Europe in between. There’s beer too, and tarte flamb?es made in the tiny oven behind the bar, all presided over with a genial publican air by co-owner Nelson Carey. Grab an outdoor table and a bottle of wine and play hooky for the afternoon.
