Among the upgrades the old Red House space scored in a recent rehab is a comfy little reading nook, with cushy seats arranged in a U-shape enclosed by, yes, you guessed it, a fireplace along with some bookshelves, making for a reading area so classically cute it’s almost cliche. Plus, the in-house library is the kind where it’s up to the drinking public to donate or borrow books as they see fit. We know, we know, why come to a bar if you’re just gonna sit there and read, you fucking nerd. And that’s just it—here’s a nice little nook for you so you don’t take up space at the actual bar. Everyone wins!
