Best Bar for Smokers

The Laughing Pint

3531 Gough St., (410) 342-6544, laughingpint.com

Pretty much any bar is a good bar for smokers when it’s warm outside—you go outside. But when it starts to get chilly, or, you know, below freezing, only a select few drinking spots still cater to a nicotine-needer’s (or wanter’s) needs. One of them is the Laughing Pint, a smallish Highlandtown joint we kind of love anyway. The self-proclaimed “nicest little bar in Baltimore” is home to its very own heated outdoor smoking lounge, with benches and those tall steel heaters with little tables around them for drinks and ashtrays, meaning you won’t have to leave your drink inside, ’cause who wants to do that? Plus, most everyone here is friendly, so you’d have to try hard not to find someone to share your smoke with.
