Inside and Outside Sales Positions

City Paper is looking for new talent to join our sales staff. Our current media package has expanded to include a diverse portfolio that includes our weekly paper, local, national and global online media, glossy magazines, baltimorejobsolution.com, events and much, much more. These new product lines have created diverse and ever-changing openings on our sales team. If you are motivated, driven to succeed and revenue focused, an excellent opportunity could be waiting for you. We are currently looking for an entry level candidate to join our retail sales team and a sales professional with at least 2 years of experience to work in our automotive section. Editorial Internships

Interested in learning more about alternative journalism? Then apply for a City Paper editorial intern ship. Our interns don't fetch coffee--they help produce the Baltimore area's free alternative news weekly by fact-checking, conducting research, doing data entry, and writing short pieces for the weekly calendar. To participate, you must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and be able to earn academic credit. All majors are welcome. Internships are available during the fall, winter, spring, and summer semesters. All internships are unpaid. For information on how to apply, email Anna Ditkoff. No phone calls, please.

City Paper Street Team

City Paper is always looking for people to be a part of their street team! What does this mean to you??

* Free admission to some of the hottest events around the city (for you AND a guest)
* Awesome prizes (movie tickets, concert tickets, t-shirts, DVDs, etc.)
* The chance to do something new!!!

Here's how it works:

When CP has events that we need covered, we email ALL of our Street Team members at the same time, offering them the opportunity to cover an event. If you're able to cover the event and you're the first to reply to the email, you get it!!

Sometime during the week, you will have to come to the City Paper offices to grab some swag bags to pass out at the event. Once at the event, you pass out the grab bags and take pictures of people at the event.

You email those pictures back to CP and for that, you get a prize pack CHOCK-FULL of goodies!!!
